I love Sundays, a little church, a little nap, a little food. Great day!

Yesterday (Friday) was a very productive day. Now today is a whole different story. Started out by getting a number of things done around the house. But now it is lunch time and after lunch I know it will be a great time for a nap. The weather is warm (about 75) the breeze is very gentle and the house is quiet. Yes a nap is definitely in order.

Today is catching up on news day.

DD1 is easy I just read her blog.

DD2 leaves Indonesia in just 4 days (or is it 3 days I am confused sometimes by the international dateline). Probably won't hear from her until she get back to D.C.

DD3 has gone to work. I forgot to ask when she starts her new job.

I also need to ask DD3's fiance what the plans are for Memorial Day weekend. Is the barbecue here or somewhere else?

DS has gone off to fix another computer. I need to find out if he is going to be working this weekend or here at home before I buy groceries.

Ah, another day in a parents life.
Well, my mouse has died. My computer mouse that is. Since DS moved in with his cat we have had no real live mice in the house. The only problem with a dead computer mouse is--- I have to buy a new one. I am not in the mood to spend money!!! I will just have to use my laptop touch pad instead.
Wednesday has come and gone. It was an ordinary day. Nothing exceptional happened here at the tree house. It was a lovely warm spring day with beautiful wildflowers swinging gently in the breeze. The greens, blues and whites were calming. Yes it was an exceptional day after all.

The drier is running, the dishwasher is washing. I do love modern appliances. I now have time to update my favorite bookmarks. Those who stay include (of course) Not So Fast (www.kristinhoppe.com), Leite's Culinaria www.leitesculinaria.com, Is My Blog Burning www.ismyblogburning.com, and several others.
Tuesday continues. Let's be realistic. The good stuff ( at least the mundane) really does happen more often than the bad.

Tuesday

Well we made it through Monday. DS got back from Florida. We need rain and it once more went around the whole area. We will see how Tuesday goes.

You can tell that it is Monday. I need to do laundry and dishes but I would really like to go to the pond. It is quiet there and such fun feeding the fish. I like what Amelia Barr said, "...it is always the simple that produces the marvelous." Well on to do the dishes.
