Hot! Hot! Hot!
Okay, it is time for summer to temper it's enthusiasm. It is just too hot. Even the air is starting to dry out. It is time for fall, warm days and cool nights. A smidge of rain thrown in for good measure would be wonderful. The luna moths have come and gone. They are perdictable within a week or two. Such a fleeting beauty and a prize of summer.

The Weddings are done. They were both wonderful and beautiful. I discovered that my children have changed as they have matured but at the same time they have remained the same glorius people that they have always been. The "new" members of the family fit as if they have always been here. Life is settling into a routine. Work, house work, and of course eating. I have found several new, great recipes which I will post in a couple of days.

Rain

It is raining here. That wonderful slow all day rain. True tha grass is getting tall enough to be hard to mow but today is a day to find a good book and a cozy corner. It is a day for soft, classical music. A day for dozing and mulling. The sun will come back out and the chores will not go away but it is a day of wonderful laziness.

Spring has come to the tree house. I can leave the doors open and let the fresh air blow through at least two days a week. Mother turkey is back and has hidden her nest well this year. I haven't found it yet but will keep looking. Three of my four are into the traveling mind and should all be settled by the end of next week, I think.

Sorrow
Since I live near a very small community. I know most of the people that I see on a daily. The tragic death of two children in a fire yesterday has touch everyone. If we don't personally know the family we know someone who knew them. Remember to get those smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and if you have them check them regularly. Could this tragedy been avert? I don't know but I do know that this community's heart has been broken.

It is now 2006. The holidays were wonderful. Life is great. That is the way I am looking 2006. My life is far from perfect. But why make it worse by dwelling on the problems. Believe me I have problems and I acknowledge those problem but I refuse to dwell on them. I have four wonderful, and magnificant children (see enclosed photo). This year I have children who have chosen to marry truly terrific people. These are the things I chose to dwell on. The blessings are to be my mantra.

Time Passes
Only 4 months away is that great holiday of Christmas. I love Christmas! Hurray for Christmas.
Anyway now school has started things are settling down. Back at work. The children are all settling into their respective routines, One in Idaho, one in Maryland, one in Alaska and one in Missouri. Adult children are a wonderful pay off. I really like my children as people! Got to go. More unimportant information later.

The Beautiful People
Guesswhat! Ordinary people are gorgeous by just being ordinary. Just remember we do our best every day and that is what makes beauty.
